Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree /Master’s degree in Psychology, Student Guidance & Counseling or related.
• 6 years experience in related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Student service skills, caring, and understand the complexity of a variety of students.
• Effective organizational, driving team, and program development skills.
• Strong in data analyst, detail-oriented, tech-savvy.
• Ability to conduct counseling in a professional and ethical manner.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external personnel at all levels.
• A creative person, sharp, self-driven, and organized.
• Strong in management skills: planning and strategy, decision-making, problem-solving, and time management.
• Strong motivation skills and professional working experience in the development and execution of successful motivation programs
• Passionate in Education and Startup.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises, trains, coaches, directs, coordinates, and disciplines retention personnel.
• Creates and monitors student retention data.
• Provides leadership to campus retention and case management efforts.
• Serves as a liaison between academic advisers and counselors to ensure students are directed properly for services.
• Provides services to students in crisis and short-term case management.
• Assists students or groups to understand problems, cope with crisis situations, define goals, develop action plans, persevere with challenging tasks, and gain effective decision-making skills for overcoming barriers.
• Designs, implements, and evaluates program: workshops, seminars, and/or self-help groups regarding mental health and academic transition to college matters to improve retention and student success initiatives.
• Provides proactive intervention and follow up for students.
• May serve as a member of the campus behavioral intervention team focused on care and prevention for the purpose of creating a safe and effective educational environment.
