Novis main goals of starting HarukaEDU is to make quality, affordable online education available to Indonesians wherever they are. With passion in education, he teaches Entrepreneurship at Binus International University & Surya University & is an Advisor to the Center for Technopreneurship at Surya University. Novis also previously established & co-managed the Jakarta chapter of the Founder Institute, a global network of startups, mentors & investors started in Silicon Valley.

Prior to returning to Jakarta in 2011, he was an Advisory Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), in Washington DC US & then in Jakarta. His past clients included Host Marriott, Intelsat, SiriusXM Radio, the World Bank & Wall Street English.

Novis holds a MBA & Master of Science in Information System Technology from the George Washington University & a Bachelors of Accounting from Parahyangan University.

Dr. Gerald is a former Head of 4 MBA Programmes at Bina Nusantara University with professional experience in Higher Ed, VC & consulting with MNC firms in the UK, Russia, S. Korea & Indonesia. Worked in automotive, private equity & telco sectors in activities ranging from target company due diligence, product marketing, business planning & strategy development. Prior to returning to Jakarta in 2003, he held Analyst roles at Tellit Communications (now Qualcomm UK), HGA Consulting (part of Halcrow Group) & Inquam (Qualcomm-Saudi Oger pan European mobile holding) in London. Subsequently he held strategic planning roles at Astra Honda Motors & at Ernst & Young Advisory in Jakarta.

Currently a part time Postgraduate lecturer at Binus Business School & London School of Public Relations, he was visiting lecturer to Universiti Utara Malaysia & Panelists at Northeastern University & PPM School of Management.

He is a member of the Strategic Management Society, European Corporate Governance Institute & UK Chartered Institute of Management.

Educational Background & Training

Obtained a B.Eng (Honours) in Electronic Engineering from King's College London, University of London (UK), an M.Sc in Management from the University of Surrey (UK) & a Ph.D in Strategic Management from the University of Indonesia.

Tovan has professional working experience with multinational firms in the United Arab Emirate (UAE), Libya, USA & Indonesia. Prior to founding HarukaEDU, he was the Financial Controller of Microsoft Indonesia & the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of PT Trouw Nutrition Indonesia (a member of Nutreco Group). He was responsible for directing the firm's businesses in Asia Pacific region by providing financial perspective which also integrates the overall view of the business. Tovan has worked in various finance functions at Ernst & Young, KPMG & Schlumberger & is a certified professional coach. Currently a part time Postgraduate lecturer at Binus Business School teaching Business Ethics.

Dr. Martin has professional working experience with research institutes in Singapore & Indonesia. Prior to joining HarukaEDU, he was the Acting-Rector of Surya University, Vice Rector academic of Surya University & head of four Study Programmes of Surya University.

Previously he was a senior researcher at the A Star Institute of Chemical Engineering & Sciences of Singapore.

Dr. Martin is an SMF scholar & Singapore President scholarship recipient. He holds a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from the University of Surabaya, a Master & PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore

Erga has professional working experience as Chief Technology Officers in various technology startups that includes Talenta Digital Indonesia, Seekmi Global Services, PriceArea, Wooz.In, Multiply Indonesia, ThinkSmart, Admovement Danendra, Ainent Multimedia, Duaribu Bahassa, Ainetworks. He has extensive ICT expertise covering e-commerce, software house, web agency, portal dotcom. He is highly experienced in Analyze, System & Database Design, Web Development, System Administration, Networking, Project Management & Reporting System. Dr. Reikman holds a Bachelor in Accounting from Gadjah Mada University & in Law from Universitas Merdeka Surabaya. He was a scholarship recipient from the Australian government for his Masters in Business Accounting from Monash University & his PhD in Corporate Finance the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

Dr. Odi has professional working experience in Chemicals & HigherEd having previously worked or were involved in projects at Sumitomo Chemicals Japan (Tokyo & Osaka offices), KPK (Komisi Pemberantas Korupsi), Surya University, Mentari Research Institute & International University Liaison Indonesia
